40hrs/fortnightApplications close Wednesday 16 September ****As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts.You have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check, which includes a medical assessment.About this work areaAs Customer Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Assisting customers with loading items into their vehiclesCollecting trolleys from around the IKEA store and carpark to ensure we always have them available to useSupporting other areas of Customer Relations including resolving customer service issues, processing transactions, maintaining shopping tools (shopping baskets, trolleys, and yellow bags) and cataloguesEnsuring customers have a positive final touchpoint during the IKEA shopping experienceAs Customer Co-worker you have:A passion for securing the best customer experience possibleComfortable performing repetitive and heavy lifting tasksExcellent communication skillsA polite and friendly manner and a "Togetherness" mindsetAble to work closely with your team and other departments or work independentlyBasic computer and systems literacyWe need people like you!
