About The OpportunityAs a Commis Chef, you'll play an important role in the fast-paced Kelly's Kitchen team, preparing and presenting quality dishes while maintaining high food safety and presentation standards.Reporting to the Outlet Sous Chef, you'll work alongside an energetic and supportive team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
You'll bring passion, initiative and attention to detail, contributing to the quality dining experiences Panthers is known for.As Commis Chef, you will:Prepare, cook and present quality dishes in a busy, multi-outlet kitchenComplete daily preparation for your allocated section within Kelly's KitchenUse a range of cooking equipment and techniques, including grills, pans, fryers and cold larder preparationPrepare mise en place under the direction of the Outlet ChefMaintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchen throughout and following each serviceCheck food deliveries and ensure products are stored safely in accordance with FIFO proceduresComplete daily cleaning checklists to maintain a protected and hygienic workplaceAbout youYou have a minimum of two years' post-apprenticeship experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environmentA Certificate III in Commercial CookeryA current Food Safety Supervisor CertificateStrong written and verbal communication skillsA genuine passion for hospitality and a desire to grow your career with PanthersExcellent attention to detail,
