As a Night Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours.
Your primary focus will be on managing guest accounts and providing exceptional customer service to our guests and uphold Hyatt brand standards during the overnight shift.Please note: Only candidates with current and valid Australian work rights will be considered for this position.Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields is Australia's first Hyatt Place hotel, perfectly positioned in the heart of Essendon Fields' retail and commercial precinct.Located steps from Essendon Fields Airport, 6 minutes from Melbourne Airport and 20 minutes from Melbourne's Central Business District (CBD), our hotel combines style, innovation and 24/7 conveniences to create an easy to navigate experience for today's multi-tasking traveler.
Guests can enjoy thoughtfully designed guestrooms featuring distinct zones for sleep, work and play, and free flowing social spaces that offer seamless transitions from work to relaxation.What you'll be doingPerforming nightly audit procedures to reconcile financial transactions and guest accountsGenerating and reviewing various financial reports to ensure accuracy and complianceRemain flexible and adaptable, assisting across hotel departments including Rooms and Food & BeverageHandling guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any inquiries or issues that may arise during the night whilst upholding Hyatt Brand StandardsMonitoring and maintaining hotel security and safety protocolsAssisting with other front office duties as needed,



such as answering phones and responding to guest requestsProviding a high level of customer service to all guests throughout the nightAssist with guest and crew transportation arrangementsWork alongside our Night Manager for 3 days a week and 2 days independentlyQualificationsRelevant degree in Hospitality is an advantageFull Victorian Driver's License a mustWhat we're looking forMinimum of 2 years' experience in a Night Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industryStrong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately reconcile financial recordsExcellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectivelyProficient in the use of hotel management software and technologyFlexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently during overnight shiftsA team player with a positive and proactive attitudeWhat we offerWith enriching work comes amazing rewards!
