Superannuation BROSNA TOWN CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD seek to employ a Plasterer on a full-time basis for various projects in the Sydney Metro area.
This is a long-term role and require genuine applicants seeking long-term employment.
This is essential to maintain a continuing skilled point of contact within our firm for tiers 1, 2 & 3 Contractors.Key ResponsibilitiesApplying plaster to a range of different areasStudy blue prints and scale drawings to determine site requirementsOrder required materials and supplies required for each projectClean and prepare surfaces as requiredApply coats of plaster and cement render depending on job specificationsInstall moisture barriersInstall wire mesh or similar products to facilitate application of products used,



depending onproject and specificationsInstall guide wires on surfaces and mark out surfaces in preparation for applicationAdhere to OH&SCorrect; and safe use of all hand and power toolsAny adhoc duties as requiredLevelling and straightening corners, angles, etc.Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement, render or similar materialsApplying finishing coats of plaster to give a smooth finish or decorative texture if requiredErect scaffolding and trestlesSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIREDEnjoy practical workGood hand-eye coordinationAble to work at heightsAble to work neatly and accuratelyGood communication skillsSome mathematical abilityAble to read, interpret and work from plansGood health and stamina, and free from allergies to materials usedMANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCECompleted Formal Apprenticeship or at least 3 + years of solid work experience in a similar role
