And now, we're extending our reach and impact even further.As a Physiotherapy Aide, you will play an important role in helping older Australians maintain their mobility, independence and quality of life.Working closely with Physiotherapists, residents and multidisciplinary teams, you will support the delivery of tailored exercise programs and physiotherapy interventions that promote wellbeing and healthy ageing.Join a supportive and purpose-driven team where compassion, collaboration and resident-centred care are at the heart of everything we do.Your OpportunityThis is a permanent full-time opportunity based in the Anglicare Health Centre, Castle Hill, working Monday to Friday.As a Physiotherapy Aide, you will support the delivery of physiotherapy services to clients visiting the Health Centre from our Retirement Living (Independent Living) Villages and wider community.
This will be through individual and group exercise programs designed to improve mobility, strength, function and overall wellbeing.
With empathy, professionalism and a resident-focused approach, you will:Service DeliveryAssist with the delivery of individual and group physiotherapy programs as directed by the PhysiotherapistsSupport residents with prescribed exercise programs and equipment useMonitor client participation and report changes in condition, behaviour or ability to the PhysiotherapistsFacilitate and attend meetings, as well as undertake administrative tasks, as requiredWork collaboratively with physiotherapists, care teams and other village staffResident Wellbeing and SupportBuild positive relationships with residents and their familiesEncourage participation in therapy programs and wellness activitiesScheduling and AdministrationCoordinate and manage resident exercise program schedules and appointmentsCommunicate schedule changes to residents, physiotherapists, care teams and relevant stakeholdersSafety and Workplace CultureMaintain a safe, clean and organised work environment in line with WHS and IMS requirementsFollow work, health and safety procedures and report hazards appropriatelySupport a positive,



collaborative and inclusive team cultureWhat You will BringYou are a caring and enthusiastic Allied Health professional who enjoys helping older people improve their mobility, confidence and independence.You will also need:Qualification in Allied Health Assistance, Physiotherapy Assistance or a related disciplineMinimum 2 years' experience supporting exercise programs, rehabilitation or mobility-focused interventionsWhat's PreferredExperience scheduling appointments, group activities or therapy servicesExperience working within aged care, retirement living or community servicesUnderstanding of mobility, rehabilitation and physiotherapy support programsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamWhy Anglicare?
