Infrastructure Engineer - Project DeliveryInitial 6-month contractLocation Tullamarine VictoriaBuild and Deliver Enterprise Infrastructure at ScaleOur client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a high-performing technology delivery team responsible for implementing and enhancing critical enterprise infrastructure platforms.This is a hands-on project delivery role where you will design, build, configure, test and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions across Windows Server, Linux, VMware, storage, backup, identity and automation technologies.Working alongside architects, project managers, cyber security specialists, network engineers and vendors, you will play a key role in delivering secure, resilient and highly available technology platforms that support a large and complex operational environment.About the RoleAs an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for translating approved solution designs into production-ready infrastructure, ensuring platforms are configured to enterprise standards and successfully transitioned into operational support.You will contribute to major infrastructure initiatives including platform upgrades, migrations, lifecycle refreshes, automation improvements and high-availability solutions.Please note, to apply applicantsmust have the following:The requisite skills and experience defined below,At least Australian Permanent Residence working rights,5-7 years' experience as an Infrastructure EngineeringKey ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Delivery & ImplementationBuild, configure and deploy enterprise infrastructure solutions from approved technical designs.Deliver server, virtualisation, storage, backup and identity platform implementations.Configure and support Windows Server and Linux operating environments.Perform infrastructure upgrades, migrations and lifecycle refresh activities.Implement security hardening,

rollback procedures and operational runbooks.Ensure successful transition of solutions into BAU support teams.About YouYou are a technically strong Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys delivering complex enterprise technology projects and solving challenging technical problems.You will bring:5+ years' experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering.Strong Windows Server administration experience across Windows Server ****, ****, **** and newer environments.Experience supporting Linux platforms including Red Hat, CentOS and Ubuntu.Robust VMware vSphere administration experience.Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID and enterprise identity services.Knowledge of storage, backup and disaster recovery technologies.Experience working within project delivery environments.Strong troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.Highly Desirable SkillsVMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, DRS, HA and vSAN.Windows Server Failover Clustering.SQL Always On Availability Groups.PowerShell scripting and automation.Ansible automation.CIS security hardening standards.Vulnerability remediation and security governance.Git-based source control and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.CertificationsThe following certifications will be highly regarded:VMware CertificationMicrosoft CertificationAzure CertificationITIL CertificationWhy Apply?
