Norwood Psychology is a modern, private psychology practice that opened it's books earlier this year. We've now renovated to add two new rooms and we're looking for our very last psychologist to join the team!
We’ve built a closely connected, supportive workplace where we all work closely together. In my eyes, if we put valuable people together, treat them well, create a good sense of purpose and have a bit of fun in the process, we’ll all be better for it and that's just what's happening here at NP - we're loving it.
So the goal is to add the final piece to our group of talented, friendly, hardworking people who all want to come to work each day and build the best experience we can for staff and clients alike. We want our psychologists to look forward to coming to work, not to 'have to' come to work.
We offer top-end pay, as well as a generous paid professional development allowance, wellbeing allowance, paid clinical supervision and of course we cover all regular team social events, team meetings and team dinners.

About Us
Norwood Psychology is a new practice that opened on Osmond Tce in Norwood, in January 2026.
We’re grounded in the idea that when psychologists feel supported, everyone wins - your clients get better outcomes, you get along better with your coworkers and have more time and capacity for your loved ones outside of work too.
We’ve built a practice that feels good to walk into – warm, welcoming, and genuine – a place where clients feel comfortable, and accessing therapy is as simple and easy as possible. For any new staff we work hard to help their clients who decide to stay with them to have a smooth transition and feel supported as they do.
We aim for therapy that is friendly, conversational, down-to-earth, but still high quality and grounded evidence-based research and training. No jargon for the sake of it. No top-down, cold clinical tone. High-quality therapy delivered in a way that feels genuine.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for psychologists (Registered or Clinical) who can bring a grounded, personable style to their work.
People who genuinely enjoy getting to know the person in front of them – not just their symptoms or problems – and who are confident in their practice or eager to learn. We want people who are aiming to be bloody good psychologists.
If you value connection, clarity, and working at a practice that doesn’t just talk about supporting clinicians but actually delivers it, you’ll fit right in.
Why Join Norwood Psychology?
We’ve designed the practice so you can focus on the work you love – helping people– and not get buried in everything else.
Here’s what you can expect:
A family at work
The goal of the practice is to feel part of something, not that you’re on an island battling on your own. At Norwood Psychology we want to feel connected to each other, like mates as well as colleagues. We want you to feel like you can lean on each other at times and ask for help or perspective where you need it. We have regular practice meetings, peer and clinical supervision and work social events (all paid for by us). Plus, most importantly, we have lunch together as often as possible.
A genuinely supportive team culture
We match clients thoughtfully, encourage ongoing learning and collaboration, and create an environment where you feel confident and backed. We fund your continuing professional development and encourage all staff to be trained in similar modalities so we can share knowledge and help become better psychologists together. We’re also always looking for your input on how we can refine what we do and improve the practice, we’re not fixed in our ways.
A modern, well-run practice
No outdated systems or clunky processes. Our admin team keeps things running smoothly so your headspace stays clear. We have AI systems set up to help with your note-taking, GP letters, progress reports and more - we even setting one up to help you navigate any ethical considerations. Every psych who has joined us, has said it's the smoothest practice they've worked at.
A calm, welcoming space your clients will actually want to walk into
Think warm, contemporary, and comfortable – not sterile or old-fashioned. The goal is for clients to feel grounded from the moment they arrive and for you to feel proud that you work there.
All of the therapy and staff spaces are newly renovated and furnished, we are happy to help you add your personal style to your room or to take on any feedback around communal spaces. Clients are well catered for, offered a drink when they come in and anything else we can do to help them feel comfortable.
Flexibility that respects your life outside work
Set a schedule that suits you, we’re not here to burn you out. We want people who are passionate about showing up to work and helping their clients, but we’re talking a goal of 5 client hours, 4 days per week, not insane hours - anything you work beyond that you take home as a bonus.
Competitive remuneration
Simple, transparent, and fair.
Pay is transparent, 60% of all client fees for the first 20 clients per week and 80% of all client fees from there on.
We offer a $2000 professional development allowance for the year and optional paid supervision, so that you can keep improving.
You’ll receive a $500 wellbeing allowance every 6-months to spend on things that improve your wellbeing, we want you to look after yourself.
We pay for regular social outings, team meetings and staff dinners.
