About the role

Cool Car Air Conditioning is seeking a Customer Service Consultant to join our team in Urangan, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the operational efficiency of our business. As a Customer Service Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued clients, handling enquiries, managing orders, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence in automotive air conditioning services.

Key responsibilities

- Attention to detail with strong accuracy in data entry and record keeping (Proficiency in Xero is a must)

- Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner

- Processing customer orders and payments accurately and securely

- Providing product information and recommendations to customers based on their specific requirements

- Maintaining detailed customer records and updating our client database with current information

- Resolving customer complaints and concerns promptly, escalating complex issues when necessary

- Coordinating with the technical team to ensure customers receive high-quality service

- Performing administrative tasks including data entry, filing and general office duties

- Supporting the sales team with client follow-ups and customer retention initiatives

- Providing quotes and cost estimates for air conditioning services as required

- Bookkeeping and reconciliation in Xero,



creating credit notes for trade customers

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers

- Proven experience in a customer service, sales administration or client-facing role

- Excellent organisational and time management abilities

- Proficiency with computer systems and office software, including email and scheduling applications

- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively in a busy environment

- Professional telephone manner and written communication skills

- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach

- Reliability and punctuality

- Knowledge of the automotive industry or air conditioning services is desirable but not essential
