About the role

The Cut Heathridge Hair Studio is seeking a talented and creative Hairstylist to join our team in Heathridge, WA. This is a part-time position offering flexibility whilst allowing you to develop your skills in a supportive salon environment. As a Hairstylist, you will be at the heart of our business, delivering exceptional hair services to our valued clientele and helping them look and feel their best. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for quality craftsmanship and outstanding customer service.

What you'll be doing

- Providing a full range of hairstyling services, including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments

- Consulting with clients to understand their needs, preferences and hair type, and offering professional recommendations

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas and with all tools and equipment

- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals

- Staying current with the latest hair trends, techniques and products within the industry

- Managing appointment schedules efficiently and ensuring clients are seen on time

- Collaborating with fellow team members to create a positive and supportive salon environment

- Contributing to the overall appearance and organisation of the salon

What we're looking for

- A recognised qualification in hairstyling or equivalent industry experience

- Proven experience working as a Hairstylist in a professional salon setting

- Strong technical skills in cutting, colouring and styling techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse clients

- A creative eye with the ability to adapt styles to suit individual clients





- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results

- Flexibility and reliability, with a positive attitude towards teamwork

- Knowledge of health and safety protocols within salon environments

- Experience with salon booking systems and point-of-sale technology is desirable
