The successful candidate will manage workshop operations, undertake general servicing and repairs, conduct vehicle inspections and registration-related services, and provide mechanical support across agricultural operations when required.
About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day operation of the workshop.
- Coordinating bookings, workflow and customer enquiries.
- Performing vehicle servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
- Diagnosing faults and identifying practical repair solutions.
- Conducting vehicle inspections and road-worthiness assessments.
- Managing registration-related inspections and associated online systems.
- Maintaining workshop records, compliance documentation and inventory.
- Supporting the maintenance of company vehicles, machinery and equipment.
- Providing mechanical troubleshooting support across farming operations when required.
- Maintaining a safe, organised and compliant workshop environment.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Trade qualifications as a Light Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent mechanical trade.
- Proven experience in servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
- Experience with vehicle inspection and registration services.
- The ability to work independently and organise workshop activities.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Sound computer skills and confidence using online systems.
- A current driver's licence.
Highly Regarded
- Workshop management or supervisory experience.
- Agricultural, rural or fleet maintenance experience.
- Exposure to trailers, agricultural machinery and farm equipment.
- Customer service and relationship-building skills.
