About the opportunity
Korowa Anglican Girls' School is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and reliable ELC Co-Educator to join our Early Learning Centre team. If you're passionate about early childhood education and thrive in a nurturing, team-oriented environment - we'd love to hear from you.
About the role
As an ELC Co-Educator, you'll step in to support our ELC team when needed, helping to maintain a warm, consistent and stimulating learning environment for our youngest students. You'll work collaboratively alongside our educators, assist with daily routines, and ensure children feel safe, supported and engaged. Flexibility and a positive attitude are key - every day brings something different!
What you'll do
- Provide seamless, high-quality care and learning support when regular Co-Educators are absent
- Assist in implementing the daily ELC routine and developmental program
- Attend to the individual and group needs of children in a nurturing and professional manner
- Work as a collaborative and flexible member of the ELC team
- Ensure compliance with Children's Services Regulations at all times
- Maintain respectful and professional relationships with students, staff and families
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in an Early Learning Centre or early childhood setting
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- A genuine passion for the care and development of young children
- Flexible, reliable and a great team player
- Commitment to child safety and professional best practice
