n Immediate Start Available
n 6-Day Fortnight Roster
n 12.6 Hour Shifts
n Rotating starts between 11:00am and 12:00am

About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring plant reliability across a busy meat processing facility. You'll be responsible for preventative maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repairs and continuous improvement initiatives across a range of production and processing equipment.
n
This role suits a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter who enjoys working in a high-volume manufacturing environment and thrives on solving problems to keep production moving.
n Key Responsibilities
n

- Preventative and reactive maintenance on processing equipment
n
- Fault finding and breakdown response
n
- Mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
n
- Working on pneumatic, hydraulic and conveying systems
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve plant reliability and performance
n
- Supporting production teams to minimise downtime
n
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
n
n
About You
n
n
- Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent trade qualification
n
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter in manufacturing, food processing, meat processing, FMCG or a similar industrial environment
n
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities
n
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and rotating equipment
n
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
n
- Solid commitment to safety and continuous improvement
n
- Full Australian working rights
n

Highly Regarded
n
n
- Meat processing or food manufacturing experience
n
- Experience with steam systems
n
- TIG and Stick welding skills
n
- Exposure to industrial refrigeration systems
n
- Experience maintaining conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and processing equipment
n
