Job Description

Manage and support the veterinary nursing team
n Mentor, train, and develop nurses across all experience levels
n Build a positive and collaborative team culture
n Support veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, and procedures
n Undertake surgical nursing, pathology, hospital nursing, and team-based consulting
n Provide emergency and critical care nursing support when required
n Manage stock and inventory
n Support workflow management and operational efficiency
n Assist with administrative and reception duties when required
n Handle client enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
n Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs alongside the Practice Manager
n Identify opportunities to improve processes and clinic performance
n Remain actively involved in hands-on nursing and patient care

Requirements

n

n
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
n
- Minimum of 3+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experience
n
- Leadership, mentoring, or senior nursing experience, or readiness to step into a leadership role
n
- Robust surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring skills
n
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Experience with RxWorks is desirable but not essential
n
- Calm, friendly, empathetic,



and professional approach
n
- Positivity and a team-first attitude
