- Review and maintain accounting and management reporting procedures used across client engagements.
- Prepare management accounts and periodic financial performance reports for business clients, including analysis of revenue, expenditure, and operating results.
- Prepare and monitor client budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and financial projections, including analysis of variances between projected and actual results.
- Undertake cost and profitability analysis, including assessment of operating costs, margins, pricing structures, and expenditure across client businesses.
- Develop financial models and management reports for BG Financial’s Virtual CFO engagements, incorporating financial forecasting and business planning.
- Analyse financial trends and overall business performance and prepare financial information for client business planning and strategic reviews.
- Review clients’ financial and operating systems and internal controls and identify deficiencies and areas requiring improvement.




- Assess financial risks arising from client business operations and financial performance and advise on financial planning and risk assessment.
- Prepare and analyse portfolio reports for SMSF and equity investment clients, including investment values, cash balances, asset allocation, and portfolio performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Must have Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in management accounting, financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.

Skills required:

- Strong technical knowledge of management, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Strong knowledge of cost analysis, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse financial performance, cash flow, expenditure, and pricing structures.
- Experience with accounting and financial reporting software, including Xero, MYOB or similar platforms.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.

*Australian citizens/Permanent Residents will be preferred.
