The Opportunity
As the Senior Finance Officer, you will take ownership of the accounts payable function, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strong financial controls and stakeholder relationships.
This position will suit a proactive and solutions-focused finance professional who enjoys working within a collaborative team environment and takes pride in delivering accurate outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end accounts payable processing across a high-volume environment
- Providing day to day leadership by management of workflows
- Managing supplier invoices, approvals and payment runs
- Maintaining supplier accounts and resolving payment-related queries
- Preparing and completing supplier statement reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing weekly and monthly reporting for finance leadership
- Monitoring outstanding invoices and ensuring timely processing
- Supporting internal stakeholders with accounts payable enquiries
About You
To be successful in this position, you will be a motivated and detail-oriented accounts professional with proven experience operating within a fast-paced finance environment.
You will also demonstrate:
- Previous long term experience in a Senior Accounts Payable Officer, Accounts Payable Officer or Finance Officer position
- Robust end-to-end accounts payable experience
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience improving processes and driving efficiencies within finance functions
- Previous experience within professional services or a corporate environment will be highly regarded
