About Stirling
Located approximately 45km South of Perth on Garden Island, HMAS Stirling provides operational and logistics support to the RAN ships, submarines and aircraft based in WA. The base is home to RAN Submarine Training & Systems Centre, Training Centre West complex, Defence Communications Station Perth, and is a trials/research & support facility. Health Centre services include primary medical, underwater medicine, nursing, mental health, physiotherapy, dental and pharmaceutical services.
Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements).
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
- Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount
What You Bring
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
- FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
- Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years in a General Practice Setting
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
