The Role
n
This position requires proficient time management skills to execute cleaning tasks effectively. Responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and mopping designated areas according to a set cleaning schedule. Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and residents is essential,
using appropriate channels for support, guidance, and addressing concerns promptly.

This role is a Permanent Part time role offering 40.30 hrs per fortnight at our Wearne Home in Dudley Park.
n
Week 1:

Monday: 0700 - 1445
n
Tuesday: 0800 - 1200
n
Sunday: 07:00-12:00

Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.

Key responsibilities
n

- Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas
n
- Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values
n
- Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice
n
- Maintains effective interpersonal relationships with others, utilising appropriate channels for assistance guidance and concerns
n
- Responds to emergency cleaning requirements as directed
n
n
About you
n
As a Hospitality Cleaner, you'll play a vital role in creating a fresh, welcoming environment. You'll take charge of cleaning and laundry routines, ensuring every space shines and every linen is crisp—bringing comfort and quality to every guest's experience!

- Evidence of Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
n
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
n
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical and reference checks
n
- NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
n
- Willingness to attend a paid 1-day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
n
- Effective communication skills and the ability to develop understanding relationships with residents.
n
- Experience working in hospitality service roles, preferably as a cleaner in an aged care/hospital environment
n
