Coastal Car Co is growing, and we're looking for a driven, personable and customer-focused Used Car Sales Consultant to join our team in Coffs Harbour.

n

About the Role

n

As a Used Car Sales Consultant at Coastal Car Co, you'll guide customers through the full vehicle purchasing journey - from their initial enquiry through to finding the right vehicle, completing the sale and handing over the keys.

You'll be responsible for:

n

- Building strong, lasting relationships with customers
n
- Managing phone, online and showroom enquiries
n
- Understanding customer needs and recommending the right vehicle
n
- Presenting vehicles and conducting test drives
n
- Negotiating and confidently closing sales
n
- Following up enquiries and maintaining an active customer database
n




- Assisting with vehicle appraisals and trade-ins
n
- Working closely with our finance and management teams
n
- Delivering a professional and exceptional customer experience
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is driven, motivated and genuinely enjoys sales and working with people.

n

You'll be confident, personable and well presented, with solid communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly. You'll be comfortable negotiating, asking for the sale and following up opportunities to turn enquiries into results.

n

You'll also be organised, reliable and commercially minded, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

n

A genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry is important. Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but we're also open to candidates with a strong sales or customer service background who have the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.
