We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Room Leader to join our team at Mini Masterminds Leichhardt (32-place centre).

About the Role
n
As Room Leader, you will lead your classroom team to deliver high-quality education and care while creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn and thrive.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will mentor educators, support children's learning and development,
and work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to maintain the highest standards of education and care.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Lead and mentor educators within your room through on-the-floor guidance and support
n
- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF
n
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
n
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
n
- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through meaningful interactions
n
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and all relevant legislation
n
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and centre-wide goals
n
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
n
- Previous Room Leader or leadership experience within an Early Childhood Education setting
n
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
n
- Current Child Protection training/certificate
n
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), and National Quality Standards (NQS)
n
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
n
- A genuine passion for mentoring educators and delivering high-quality education and care
