About the Opportunity

As Residential Manager, you’ll have the autonomy and support to lead the home across its people, clinical, operational and financial performance.

Working closely with the Regional Operations Manager and wider leadership team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape culture, strengthen workforce capability and create an environment where residents, families and employees feel genuinely supported.

This role will suit a leader who enjoys bringing people together, creating stability and turning opportunities for improvement into meaningful and sustainable change.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing overall leadership across clinical, operational and financial performance
- Leading, mentoring and developing a multidisciplinary leadership team
- Building an engaged workplace culture where employees feel supported, valued and accountable
- Championing relationship-centred care and ensuring positive outcomes for residents
- Maintaining compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation




- Leading quality improvement initiatives and strengthening operational performance
- Managing budgets, occupancy, workforce performance and financial outcomes
- Building strong and trusted relationships with residents, families, employees and the wider Forbes community
- Working collaboratively with the broader regional leadership team to share ideas, solve challenges and drive continuous improvement

About You

You’re an authentic and people-focused leader who understands that great outcomes start with great teams.

You have the confidence to lead through change, develop emerging leaders and establish a culture where compassion, accountability and high performance work together.

You’ll bring strong operational and commercial capability, alongside a genuine commitment to quality aged care. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who can earn trust, inspire others and bring people with you.

Ideally, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience leading a large residential aged care home, or a comparable healthcare, hospitality or community-based operation
- Experience managing large and diverse teams through periods of change, growth or transformation
- Solid financial, operational and workforce management capability
- Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation and AN-ACC funding




- A proven ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, employees and key stakeholders
- A collaborative leadership style and a genuine commitment to coaching and developing others
- Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration preferred
- Willingness to participate in an after-hours regional on-call roster, approximatelyone week in nine
- Ability to obtain and maintain aNational Police Check and NDIS Worker Check
