We're looking for a passionate and experienced Service Manager to join our dynamic John Deere team in Mackay.

What You'll Be Doing

n

As a Service Manager, you will:

n

n
- Efficiently manage and direct all aspects of workshop operations
n
- Ensure the highest level of service is provided to our customerbase
n
- Deliver key performance indicators including productivity,efficiency, rework, WIP and billing cycle performance
n
- Lead, coach and develop a team of workshop employees
n
- Provide leadership, guidance and training to the service team
n
- Continuously develop and implement strategies to improvemaintenance and service effectiveness
n
- Deliver expert service and support to customers and partners acrossthe region
n




- Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation and continuousimprovement
n

What We're Looking For

n

- Has extensive experience in a management position within a heavymachinery workshop environment
n
- Demonstrates robust leadership capability and a passion fordeveloping people
n
- Has proven experience building positive relationships withcustomers, colleagues and management
n
- Possesses strong communication and motivational skills
n
- Has experience managing budgets and financial performance
n
- Can evaluate operational performance and respond to changingbusiness needs
n
- Has strong computer and administrative skills
n
- Is safety-conscious, solutions-focused and committed to continuousimprovement
n
- Takes ownership, drives results and leads by example
n
