ABOUT THE ROLE
In this permanent part time role you will be working with a highly regarded and established surgeon. Your role is fundamental in the delivery of exceptional customer service and administrative support and in ensuring the seamless running of the consulting rooms. This is a key leadership position and responsibilities will include:
- Managing office and administration requirements.
- Liaise with hospital departments.
- Assist with marketing.
- Triage patient appointments according to urgency.
- Surgical theatre bookings.
- Financial consent.
- Manage patient recall/review system.
- Problem solving skills with a high level of initiative, prioritising, problem solving and lateral thinking ability
- Team building and chair practice meetings.

ABOUT YOU:
You are a highly experienced Practice Manger with proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team.
Essential Skills to be successful in this role include:
- At least 2 years experience as a Practice Manager
- Experience with using surgical practice software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members.
- Proven problem solving ability.
- Ability to work autonomously and to manage other practice staff.

We work together to ensure patient safety, well-being and recovery. We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.
REQUIREMENTS:
Criminal record and/or child protection checks will be conducted and will form part of the selection criteria for this role.
