Axial Training is looking for an experienced, energetic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to take ownership of our Wollongong, Illawarra, South Coast and southern Sydney region.

n

This is an outstanding prospect to join one of NSW's fastest-growing and most energetic RTOs, bringing a flexible, workplace-based approach to the apprenticeship and traineeship market.

And importantly - you won't be starting from scratch.

You'll step into a region with a strong existing client base, established employer relationships and significant potential for further business growth.

The Role

n

This is a highly autonomous role for someone who knows the apprenticeship and vocational training world and enjoys being out in industry.

n

With strong support from the wider Axial team, you'll:

n

n
- Manage and grow an established portfolio of employer clients
n
- Develop new apprenticeship and traineeship business
n
- Build strong, long-term relationships with employers and industry
n
- Identify workforce development and training opportunities throughout the region
n
- Strengthen existing referral and industry relationships
n
- Represent Axial across Wollongong, the Illawarra and South Coast
n
- Take genuine ownership of the growth and performance of your territory
n

You'll have the freedom to get out there, build relationships and develop your region - backed by an organisation that has the training model, people and support to deliver on what you sell.

What We're Looking For

n





Experience in the apprenticeship and vocational training industry is essential.

n

We're looking for someone who brings either:

n

n
- Proven sales/business development experience within the VET sector; or
n
- Solid experience with an ACAP - Apprenticeship Support Agency
n

n

You'll already understand apprenticeships, traineeships, employers and the broader vocational training environment.

n

Just as importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys meeting people, opening doors, developing relationships and turning opportunities into sustainable business.

n

You'll be organised, accountable, comfortable working autonomously and motivated by the opportunity to grow a territory.
