Set to become one of Sydney's food and drink destinations for tourists and locals alike, we are searching for passionate individuals with an engaging personality. We are currently recruiting for a professionalChef de Partieto join our kitchen team.

n

The main duties and responsibilities for this role will include the following:

n

n
- To oversee a section of kitchen and ensure that it runs according to the performancestandards as established by the Executive Chef.
n
- Ensures that all dishes from that section are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.
n
- To organise and set up the kitchen as effectively as possible.
n
- To monitor food and operating costs, and manage and reduce wastage.
n

n

Through hands-on management, closely supervise the kitchen associates in the performance of their duties.

n

Qualifications

n

n
- Completion of Diploma or Completion of Chef apprenticeship
n
- Good Hygiene knowledge
n
- Effective trainer, experienced in the delivery of skills training




n
- Safe and accurate knife skills
n
- Knowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methods
n
- One year minimum experience as Chef de Partiein a hotel or restaurant with good standards
n

Previous experience in a leadership role
