About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department by acting as the department's central communication hub. You will coordinate guest requests, maintain accurate room status, provide administrative support and work closely with Front Office, Engineering and the Housekeeping team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with Hyatt standards.

Some of the responsibilities include:

- Coordinate daily Housekeeping Office operations, including room allocations, guest requests and departmental communications.
- Monitor Opera PMS and HotSOS to ensure accurate room status and timely completion of maintenance requests.
- Coordinate VIP arrivals, guest amenities, rollaway beds, baby cots, laundry and special housekeeping requests.
- Maintain the Lost Property register and ensure guest belongings are handled in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Prepare daily allocation sheets,



operational reports and support administrative functions including roster updates and stock ordering.
- Work closely with Front Office, Engineering and Housekeeping leaders to ensure rooms are prepared efficiently and guest expectations are exceeded.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

- Previous experience in Housekeeping, or a hotel administrative role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
- Experience using Opera PMS, HotSOS or similar hotel systems will be highly regarded.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- High attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
