Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator

About The Opportunity

An established clinical research organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator to lead the successful delivery of clinical studies while supporting and developing a high-performing site operations team. This position combines hands‑on study coordination with people leadership, quality oversight, and stakeholder management to ensure exceptional participant experiences and high‑quality research outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of multiple clinical trials, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Lead, mentor and develop Clinical Trial Coordinators, Research Assistants and support staff through coaching, performance management and training.
- Monitor study progress, recruitment performance, data quality, protocol compliance and issue resolution across allocated projects.
- Build strong relationships with sponsors, CROs, investigators and internal stakeholders, acting as a key operational contact.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across trial processes, documentation, training and operational efficiency.
- Support project planning, resource allocation, reporting and risk management to ensure successful study execution.
- Promote a collaborative, compliant and patient‑focused culture while maintaining GCP and regulatory standards.

About You

- Previous experience in a Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator,



Clinical Trial Coordinator Team Lead or similar leadership role within clinical research.
- Robust knowledge of clinical trial operations, ICH-GCP and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent organisational, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing competing priorities across multiple studies in a fast‑paced environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
