We're seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator / Contracts Manager to play a key role in the delivery of a major building project valued in excess of $200 million within a live operational environment.

Reporting directly to the Head of Projects, you'll support the commercial and contractual delivery of one of the most significant projects in our portfolio. Working closely with project leadership and key stakeholders, you'll be responsible for managing both upstream and downstream contractual obligations while driving robust commercial outcomes across all stages of project delivery.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Contracts Administrator / Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial and contractual delivery of a major project throughout all stages of delivery.

Working closely with Project Directors, project teams, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders, you will help ensure contractual obligations are effectively managed while supporting strong commercial performance across the project.

Key Responsibilities

Support the commercial and contractual delivery of a major project valued in excess of $200M.

Manage upstream contract obligations, correspondence, reporting and commercial requirements.

Lead subcontractor procurement, tendering, evaluation and contract award processes.

Prepare, negotiate and administer subcontractor and supplier agreements.

Manage variations, claims, extensions of time and contractual correspondence.

Monitor project budgets, forecasts, cash flow and commercial performance.

Identify, manage and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.

Work closely with Project Directors and senior leadership to drive commercial outcomes.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, governance requirements and reporting frameworks.

Support dispute avoidance and resolution strategies.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.

About You

We are open to candidates currently operating as a Senior Contracts Administrator ready to take the next step or experienced Contracts Managers seeking exposure to a major complex project environment.

To be successful, you will bring:

Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator,



Contracts Manager or similar commercial role within the construction industry.

Demonstrated experience delivering major construction projects valued in excess of $100M.

Strong understanding of both upstream and downstream contract management.

Sound knowledge of contract administration and commercial management principles.

Experience working under Australian Standard forms of contract.

Proven experience managing procurement processes and subcontractor packages.

Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy.

Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

The ability to influence project teams and drive positive commercial outcomes.

Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law or a related discipline.
