- Assist qualified technicians with inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy equipment and machinery
n
- Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults
n
- Safely operate workshop tools, equipment, and lifting devices
n
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
n
- Complete apprenticeship training and attend required trade school
n
- Maintain training records
n
- Work across different service areas and participate in on-the-job training
n
- Build broad industry experience while servicing, maintaining, and supporting earthmoving equipment used across construction, infrastructure, and civil projects
n
- Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Requirements

n
- Enrolled in, or committed to completing, a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology
n
- Genuine interest in mechanical equipment, heavy machinery, and developing a long-term trade career
n
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and basic computer skills
n
- Ability to complete training and workplace documentation
n
- Ability to safely use hand tools and follow workplace safety procedures
n
- Willingness to learn current technical skills through structured training, on-the-job experience, and trade school attendance
n
- Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented
n




- Positive attitude and commitment to personal and professional development
n
- Successful candidates progressing past interview stage must undergo National Police Clearance and Medical Screening, including drug and alcohol testing
