Job Description
Join a growing national healthcare and community services provider delivering in-home aged care, disability support, nursing and other healthcare services. This is a senior client-side leadership role with direct accountability for the organisation's in-home care operations across NSW.
n
Reporting to the COO, you'll lead operational performance, workforce capability, service quality, compliance and continuous improvement across a large state-based portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Lead the operational performance and governance of in-home care services across NSW
n
- Translate organisational strategy into clear priorities, operating plans and measurable outcomes
n
- Oversee service delivery across multiple care programs, locations and dispersed frontline teams
n
- Ensure services align with individual care plans, funding arrangements and client needs
n
- Direct workforce deployment to maintain the right skill mix, geographic coverage and continuity of care
n
- Lead Team Leaders and frontline employees, building capability, engagement and accountability
n
- Oversee client onboarding, service transitions and changes while maintaining continuity of care
n
- Improve care delivery models, workforce planning, scheduling and travel optimisation
n
- Monitor service hours, workforce utilisation, travel efficiency, financial performance and client outcomes
n
- Standardise operational practices and workflows to improve quality, consistency and scalability
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant aged care, disability, quality and safety requirements
n
- Oversee incidents, complaints and safeguarding matters, including investigations and corrective actions
n
- Maintain audit readiness and proactively manage operational, workforce and client risks
n
- Use data and reporting to identify trends and improve operational performance
n
- Leverage technology, AI and automation to improve efficiency and modernise service delivery
n
- Contribute to business planning, governance, policy development and broader strategic priorities
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
- Extensive senior operational leadership experience across a large, complex and geographically dispersed service portfolio
n
- Strong experience in in-home care, aged care, disability, community services or a closely related regulated workplace
n
- Demonstrated success leading large multidisciplinary teams through operational leaders and Team Leaders
n
- Deep understanding of person-centred service delivery, workforce management, quality, safeguarding and compliance
n
- Experience managing operational and financial performance, including budgets, workforce costs, funding arrangements and service sustainability
n
- Strong workforce planning, scheduling, utilisation and resource optimisation capability
n
- Proven ability to improve operating models, systems and processes across growing or changing organisations
n
- Experience managing incidents, complaints, operational risk and regulatory obligations
n
- Strong commercial judgement, balancing client outcomes, service quality, workforce requirements and financial performance
n
- Confidence using data and operational reporting to identify risks and guide decisions
n
- Highly developed communication, stakeholder management and change leadership skills
n
- Tertiary qualifications in disability, community services, social work or a related field
n
- Ability to meet relevant screening, credentialling and compliance requirements
n
