We are seeking an enthusiastic Waiter to join our team at Hemingway's Manly in Manly NSW 2095. This full-time position is an exciting chance to play a key role in delivering high-quality customer service and contributing to the success of our vibrant coastal restaurant.
What you'll be doing
- Providing attentive and friendly table service to customers
- Taking food and drink orders efficiently and accurately
- Serving meals and drinks in a timely and professional manner
- Monitoring table availability and seating customers
- Resolving any customer inquiries or concerns in a courteous manner
- Ensuring the dining area is well-maintained, clean and set up for service
- Supervising and supporting junior waiting staff
- Assisting with inventory management and stock control
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar waiting or customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service
- Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- An experience of the French food & service environment is of course of plus.
