Lee Civil is a specialist civil contractor delivering major water and sewer infrastructure projects across South East Queensland.
As our business continues to grow, we’re creating a new in-house chance for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to take ownership of our surveying function and help shape how survey and digital construction are delivered across our projects.
This is more than a field setout role. You’ll work directly with our project engineers, supervisors and construction crews across technically challenging pipeline projects, with the autonomy to manage survey requirements from project establishment through to final as-constructed deliverables.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining survey control
- Construction setout for pipelines, structures and associated civil works
- As-constructed surveys and preparation of project deliverables
- Working with 12d and AutoCAD for survey and construction data
- Preparing and managing machine control data
- Working closely with engineers and site teams to resolve technical issues
- Maintaining survey records, QA documentation and data integrity
- Helping develop and improve Lee Civil’s survey systems and processes
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in engineering or construction surveying
- Strong knowledge of civil construction survey practices
- Experience with 12d and AutoCAD
- Experience with Leica and/or Trimble survey equipment
- Experience with machine control highly regarded
- Strong understanding of survey control, setout and as-constructed requirements
- Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance onsite
Experience in pipeline, water or sewer infrastructure would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential for the right person.
