The School
Katanning Primary School is located in the Great Southern Region of WA and the Wheatbelt Education Region. Like the wider community, our school celebrates its diversity: around 40% of our students are Aboriginal and 25% of our students speak a language other than English at home.
At Katanning Primary School, we proudly serve a diverse community and recognise that many of our students come to school with a range of educational, social and emotional needs. Our focus is on ensuring every child is known, valued and supported through high-quality teaching, strong relationships and a protected, inclusive learning environment. We hold high expectations for all students and believe that every child can achieve success when provided with the right support and opportunities.
