In this Unit Coordinator role, you'll bring confidence across care planning, InterRAI and audits, but just as important is your ability to lead. You'll mentor RNs and Caregivers, step into clinical situations when needed, and maintain strong relationships with visiting health professionals creating a more connected ecosystem that delivers exceptional support to our communities.

- Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

- Hours: Average 40 hours per week

- Shift Time: 8:30am – 5pm
n
- Roster Pattern: Monday - Friday

The purpose of this job

n

Bupa Cedar Manor Care Home is located in central Tauranga and is well known for its distinctive Tudor-style architecture. This 92-bed care home offers rest home, hospital, and dementia care, as well as care suites.

n

As a Unit Coordinator, you'll work alongside a supportive team to:

n

n




- Provide person-centred clinical care for residents
n
- Lead a team of caregivers and nurses in your unit to provide the highest quality clinical care
n
- Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork
n
- Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement
n

n

What you'll need to make it possible

n

n
- Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration
n
- Proven Clinical Leadership experience, personal passion, and empathy
n
- Passion for leading a team to mentor and support others with confident communication
n
- Prior experience and training in dementia care
n
- Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience
n
- A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact on residents' lives
n
- Hold legal entitlement to work in Current Zealand
n
