Senior Consultant, Climate & Sustainability

$120,000 – $150,000 per year + bonus + commission

We do this by offering strategic and technical expertise as well as hands‑on implementation and support. Australia's mandatory climate reporting regime is reshaping how our clients plan, govern and disclose, and we're growing our climate change capability to meet that demand.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant, Climate & Sustainability to join our growing team at our West Perth office on a full-time basis. This is a strategic role that sits at the heart of our ESG and Sustainability consulting practice. This position will engage directly with clients and their stakeholders to identify and advance climate objectives, determine material climate risks and opportunities, and facilitate workshops that bring senior stakeholders along on that journey.

Key responsibilities

- Determine material climate risks and opportunities
- Facilitate workshops that bring senior stakeholders along on the climate journey
- Conduct climate scenario analyses and climate change risk assessments
- Embed climate considerations into risk management,



strategic planning and governance frameworks
- Support clients with climate-related data, reporting and disclosure obligations
- Develop and implement Climate Transition Plans and Emission Reduction Plans
- Contribute to business development and proposal writing

About you

- A degree in environmental science, sustainability, climate change or a related discipline
- Demonstrable experience in climate and sustainability reporting, including frameworks such as AASB S2, TCFD and SBTi
- Demonstrable experience in climate scenario analyses, climate change risk assessments and stakeholder workshops
- Some experience in a consulting environment, with strong business development capabilities
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated qualified who brings established skills and credibility
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, including with social, environmental, engineering, stakeholder engagement and communications specialists
