The Role

You’ll work across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to detailed design and inspection. Day to day:

- Design maritime structures: quay walls, wharves, jetties,



piles, sheet piling, seawalls, waterfronts, boat harbours, navigation aids
- Structural analysis and design calcs, plus review of others’ work
- Berthing assessments and mooring analysis
- Technical documentation: Basis of Design, design reports, technical notes, feasibility studies
- Sketches for CAD/Revit drafting, and drawing reviews
- Structural inspections and reporting
- Managing small projects and coordinating design teams

What You'll Bring

- Civil or Structural Engineering degree
- Background in Maritime Structural or Coastal Engineering
- Min. four years' Australian Maritime or Coastal experience
- Experience preparing proposals and delivering projects
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and coordinate across disciplines
- Desire to achieve Chartered status (strongly preferred)
