Are you an experienced people leader who enjoys bringing people together, improving services and creating positive outcomes for the community?

An established not-for-profit organisation is looking for an Area Manager to take the lead across a well-performing community care service on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

This is an opportunity to step into a role where your leadership will have a direct impact supporting a dedicated team while ensuring older people receive the quality care and support, they need to continue living independently at home.

The Opportunity

Reporting to a seasoned Regional Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall operational performance of the service.

You’ll work alongside an experienced leadership team, providing direction, accountability and support while ensuring the service continues to deliver excellent outcomes for clients, employees and the organisation.

Your focus will include:

- Leading and developing the service leadership team
- Maintaining strong operational and financial performance
- Monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Supporting sustainable service growth
- Building a positive and engaged workplace culture
- Ensuring clients receive safe, consistent and person-centred support
- Partnering with senior leaders to implement business and service initiatives
- Identifying practical ways to improve processes, performance and client outcomes

The role offers the stability of an established operation while giving you the scope to influence performance, develop your people and contribute to future growth.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be an experienced operational leader who is comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and leading through a busy service environment.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- 5+ years of leadership experience
- A background inhealthcare, NDIS, community services or a related setting
- Experience overseeing operational performance and working towards measurable KPIs
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- A demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop managers and teams
- Confidence managing competing priorities within a high-volume environment
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to challenges and continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders

Experience specifically within aged care is welcome, but it is not essential. What matters most is your leadership capability, operational experience and genuine commitment to delivering quality services.
