About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Kew, you will provide operational and people leadership for the Therapeutic Services program, supporting the delivery of high-quality, timely and evidence-based services to clients with complex needs and trauma under the Redress Support Service and Forced Adoption Support Service programs.

- Lead, coach and support a skilled team of practitioners, creating a positive, reflective and high-performing team culture.
- Oversee service planning, workforce capacity, program performance, budgets, reporting and contractual requirements.
- Provide therapeutic expertise and secondary consultation in relation to complex client presentations and risk.
- Monitor service demand, quality and outcomes and identify opportunities to strengthen service delivery.
- Lead change and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the client and employee experience.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the broader development of therapeutic services at RAV.

This role is based at our Kew Centre and is part-time permanent at 0.9EFT (33.75 hours per week) . The base salary is $142,327 (pro-rata) per annum ,



plus superannuation and salary packaging benefits.

About you

You will bring:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, social science or a related discipline.
- Experience in therapeutic work involving complex trauma and/or childhood sexual abuse.
- Strong clinical and risk management capability, including capacity to support practitioners working with complex client presentations.
- Demonstrated people leadership and team management experience, with the ability to build an engaged, collaborative and accountable team culture.
- Experience managing programs, service performance and operational and contractual requirements.
- The ability to lead change, implement program improvements and build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Qualified accreditation with AASW, PACFA or APS is desirable, along with experience working with First Nations and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- A current Working with Children Check and required Police Checks are essential.
