About the position
n
As a Warehouse Storeperson within our WA Operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching products, while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting a safe and organised workplace.
n
Reporting to the Warehouse and Operations Supervisor, this role is critical to delivering exceptional service to our customers and supporting the overall success of our operations.

Your main responsibilities
n
n
- Receive, inspect and process inbound stock, transfer orders and customer returns.
n
- Accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer orders within required timeframes.
n
- Complete stock put-aways, inventory movements and maintain accurate stock records.
n
- Coordinate freight bookings and prepare transport documentation for dispatch.
n
- Participate in stocktakes and cycle counts, assisting with inventory accuracy and discrepancy investigations.
n
- Load and unload containers and operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
n
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Assist with returns processing, minor product repair activities and inventory organisation.
n
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives and maintain compliance with company procedures.
n
- Provide guidance and support to casual warehouse staff when required.
n

A suitable background would be a
n
n
- Current Forklift Licence.
n
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution role.
n
- Experience with inventory management and stock control processes.
n
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office 365.
n
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
n
- Current WA Class C Driver's Licence (desirable).
n
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or similar ERP systems (desirable).
n
- Experience coordinating freight and transport providers (desirable).
n
- Current First Aid Certificate.
n
