Sure People Solutions is a proudly Australian-owned and operated labour-hire company, delivering skilled workforce solutions across the Mining, Construction, Engineering, Defence and Industrial sectors throughout Australia for over 18 years.We are currently seeking eight experienced Intermediate and Advanced Riggers (RI–RA) for a 3–4-month project with a leading gold mining company in the Gascoyne Region, Western Australia, decommissioning and demolishing pipework to connect tanks.

This is an outstanding prospect to secure consistent project work on an even-time two weeks on, two weeks off roster, commencing on 2 September 2026.

Due to the project commencement date, successful applicants must be available to immediately complete all required pre-employment medicals, inductions and mobilisation requirements before 31 August 2026. Previous SPS employees welcome to reapply.

- $62.00 per hour – day shift
- $72.00 per hour – night shift
- Advanced Rigger rates:

- $76.80 per hour – night shift

The Role:



Working alongside experienced crane, rigging and project crews, you will support lifting operations and project activities within an operational gold mining environment.

The work will require experienced riggers who can safely perform their duties, follow lift plans and site procedures, and contribute effectively within a high-performing project team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform rigging duties in accordance with approved lift plans and site procedures
- Support crane operators during lifting and installation activities
- Inspect rigging equipment and complete required pre-start checks
- Interpret lift studies and follow supervisory instructions
- Assist with structural, mechanical and project-related lifting activities
- Maintain compliance with all site safety and operational requirements
- Work effectively across allocated day and night shifts
- Contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of the project schedule

Essential Requirements

All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen and meet the following requirements:

- Current Intermediate or Advanced Rigging High Risk Work Licence – RI or RA
- Minimum two years’ rigging experience within mining, construction or heavy industrial environments
- National Police Clearance (NPC) within 12 months or MSIC




- Previous experience working on mine sites or major resources projects
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights certification completed within the required timeframe
- Current relevant VOCs
- Offer of both day and night shifts
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Availability to commence on 2 September 2026 till January 2027.
- Availability to complete all medicals, inductions and onboarding requirements before or by 31 August 2026 latest.

Current gold mine or relevant site inductions

- HR, HC or MC Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid certification
- High Risk Work Licences for additional crane, forklift or EWP classes
- Previous experience working with major crane or heavy-lift contractors
