THE ROLE
- End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain employee records and payroll master data
- Process new starters, terminations, leave, superannuation, allowances and deductions
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation and relevant legislation
- Respond to payroll queries from employees and stakeholders in a timely manner
- Interpret awards and ensure payroll compliance
- Prepare payroll reporting and analysis
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and system enhancements
- Work collaboratively with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders across the business
THE PERSON
- Previous experience processing high-volume payroll
- SAP ECP (Employee Central Payroll) experience is essential
- UKG experience highly desirable
- Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processing
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment
- Award interpretation knowledge highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Solid communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
