About the position

In the position of Payroll officer, you will report to the Payroll manager and work in a team of three.

Responsibilities

- End to end payroll processing in accordance to policies and procedures.
- On board new employees and enter variations to employment records.
- Process termination requests and payments ensuring correct PAYG withholding on payments.
- Process salary packaging arrangements and salary deductions.
- Update Personal leave entitlements where there is an increase in Full Time Employment.
- Update Masterfile details.
- Calculate and process pro-rata entitlements.
- Validate data entry and payroll reports.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in the Payroll domain
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline e.g.



Payroll, Finance, Accounting (desirable)
- Experience with using enterprise packages preferably Technology One.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
