Join Darling Downs Health as a Senior Speech Pathologist and deliver meaningful care across residential aged care services in Various locations within Darling Downs Health. In this senior role, you’ll combine advanced clinical practice, leadership and service improvement to enhance quality of life for older people while supporting teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.

As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you'll help older people maintain independence, comfort and quality of life through expert assessment, intervention and collaborative care. From guiding complex clinical decisions to influencing service improvements across multiple sites, you'll work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outcomes that matter for residents, families and communities.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

- Delivering advanced speech pathology care that supports safe, person-centred outcomes for older people.
- Partnering with residents,



families and healthcare teams to develop practical solutions and coordinated care plans.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives that strengthen clinical practice and enhance service delivery.
- Mentoring clinicians, students and support staff to build capability and promote excellence in care.

- Eligibility for skilled membership and certification as a Speech Pathologist in Australia.
- Strong experience managing complex clinical caseloads and applying evidence-based practice.

- A proactive approach to leadership, quality improvement and service development.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have experience working in aged care, rural or regional health settings and/or experience supervising or mentoring clinicians and students.
