Working alongside the owners and management team, you'll help oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant and support the front-of-house team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys hospitality, likes working with people and takes pride in creating a well-run, welcoming restaurant.
Key responsibilities
- Managing restaurant service and day-to-day operations
- Creating staff rosters and keeping an eye on wage costs
- Training and developing staff to maintain a high standard of service
- Helping the team understand and maintain a good sequence of service
- Building a positive and supportive team culture
- Stock take and stock control
- Monitoring wastage and general costs
- Using the Lightspeed POS system
- Supporting the team through busy services
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service and restaurant presentation
About you
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a senior hospitality role
- Confident taking responsibility for a busy service
- Enjoys working with and leading a team
- Valuable communication and organisational skills
- Experience with rostering and wage managementUnderstands stock control and stock take
- Experience with Lightspeed POS
- Enjoys training and developing staff
- Night and weekend availability required
