Help Transform Access to Mental Health Support in Rural Queensland
At Lives Lived Well, we believe where you live shouldn't determine whether you can access quality mental health support.
We're looking for a passionate and qualified Allied Health Practitioner to join our South West Queensland Mental Health Services team. In this role, you'll provide evidence-based mental health support to people experiencing a range of life challenges, helping improve wellbeing, resilience and recovery outcomes across rural and regional communities.
Whether you're an experienced clinician, newly registered practitioner, or a provisional psychologist working towards accreditation, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering individual therapeutic interventions and brief psychological supports
- Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- Monitoring client progress and adjusting interventions as required
- Collaborating with healthcare providers and community services
- Managing clinical risk and maintaining clinical documentation
- Supporting positive outcomes for individuals and communities
What You'll Bring
- Relevant tertiary qualification and professional registration (AHPRA, AASW or equivalent)
- Experience or interest in supporting vulnerable and marginalised populations
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of clinical risk assessment and management
- Commitment to evidence-based, person-centred care
- Current Australian Driver Licence
We also welcome applications from Provisional Psychologists and early-career practitioners working towards mental health accreditation.

- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Experience supporting culturally and linguistically diverse communities
