About The Opportunity

Qscan Group is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, committed to delivering high-quality patient care through innovation, technology, and compassionate service.

This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Qscan Toowong clinic.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Senior Support Technician to provide advanced technical support across systems, infrastructure, hardware, software, and networks within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Providing advanced technical support and acting as an escalation point for complex IT issues across the Group.
- Supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure, hardware, software, networks, and clinical systems.
- Leading troubleshooting, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and system restoration activities.
- Monitoring system performance, reliability, and security to minimise operational disruptions.
- Assisting with IT projects, deployments, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting cybersecurity practices, compliance requirements, and data protection standards.
- Collaborating with clinicians, operational teams, and vendors to support business and clinical needs.
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation, asset registers, and support records.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to junior IT support team members.
- Participating in the on-call support roster (24/7 rotation) to support critical clinical operations.

What We’re Looking For





We’re looking for a highly capable IT professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Bring

- Proven experience in a senior IT support or systems support role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise systems within a fast‑paced operational environment.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely, high‑quality support.
- Robust understanding of cybersecurity, system reliability, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- Tertiary qualifications or certifications in Information Technology or related discipline (highly regarded).
