Overview

Elmhaven Aged Care in Streaky Bay is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager .

Working alongside the Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll provide clinical leadership and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. This is an opportunity to use your nursing experience to lead a supportive team, advocate for residents and help create a positive environment where people feel valued and cared for.

About the Role

As Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will:

- Provide and oversee high-quality, person-centred clinical nursing care
- Support the management and review of individual resident care plans
- Provide clinical guidance, supervision and support to nursing staff and students
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for residents
- Contribute to clinical decision-making, quality improvement and service development
- Support the Nurse Unit Manager with the day-to-day coordination of the service

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who is ready to take the next step in their career and make a difference in aged care.

You will have:

- Current registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practising certificate
- At least three years’ post-registration experience, or current classification as a Clinical Nurse
- Experience providing clinical leadership, supervision and support to nursing staff
- Sound knowledge of aged care standards and person-centred care
- Strong communication, organisation and clinical decision-making skills




- A commitment to quality improvement and achieving positive outcomes for residents
