Mount Barker Community College (CC) is seeking an innovative and highly motivated Manager Corporate Services to join our outstanding Executive Leadership Team.

We are an Independent Kindergarten to Year 12 (K–12) public school with a solid tradition of community connection, student success and opportunities for all students to thrive. Our diverse senior secondary pathways include Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and Vocational Education and Training (VET).

Mount Barker CC is also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), offering certificate courses in Engineering, Agriculture and Rural Operations. Our extensive facilities include a Trade Training Centre and a 364-hectare working farm, supporting learning in livestock, viticulture and horticulture.

The Role

As Manager Corporate Services (MCS), you will play a key leadership role in the effective operation and strategic management of Mount Barker CC. Working closely with the Principal and Executive Leadership Team, you would provide oversight across the College’s financial, physical and human resources , ensuring effective systems, sound governance and efficient business operations.

You would lead and support the administration team, fostering a positive, collaborative and service-focused culture.



The role encompasses the administration and oversight of financial management, budgeting, asset and facilities management, human resources and diverse funding streams, ensuring the College meets its operational and compliance requirements.

You would contribute to the development and implementation of the College’s business and strategic plans, monitor financial performance and provide advice to support informed decision-making. The successful applicant should bring strong interpersonal skills, sound financial and organisational capability, initiative and a solutions-focused approach to this broad and rewarding leadership role.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
