As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, inspections and repairs on refrigeration and cooling systems while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, site standards and asset management best practices.
You will work closely with maintenance, operations and contract teams to deliver safe, sustainable and reliable outcomes that support plant performance and business objectives.
Please note: Roster for this role is 8/6 Thursday to Thursday
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, breakdown and corrective maintenance on refrigeration and cooling water systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements.
- Support shutdown planning and execution activities as required.
- Assist with the preparation of maintenance scopes, schedules, cost estimates and resource requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with Greatland's Maintenance Business Processes.
- Maintain accurate records and work management activities within SAP.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
- Collaborate with operational and maintenance teams to achieve business and asset performance targets.
- Promote a strong safety culture through active participation in safety initiatives, risk assessments and toolbox meetings.

You are a safety-focused and motivated tradesperson with strong technical capability and a commitment to delivering reliable maintenance outcomes. You enjoy working collaboratively within a team environment and take pride in maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
- C Class Western Australian Driver's Licence
- Restricted Electrical Workers Licence
- Current LVR and CPR certification
- White Card (Construction Industry)
Desirable Qualifications
- High Risk Work Licence (Forklift and/or Elevated Work Platform)
- Working at Heights certification
- Confined Space certification
- Hot Work and Fire Extinguisher training
