We are seeking an experienced and motivated Repair Technician / Store Manager to join our growing phone and technology repair business.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical repair expertise, customer service, team management and responsibility for the overall financial and operational performance of the store .
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day store operations while providing hands‑on technical expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of devices and equipment, including but not limited to mobile phones (iPhone, Samsung, Android and other brands), laptops, iPads and tablets, desktop PCs and drones .
Key Responsibilities
Technical Repairs
Diagnose faults and perform high-quality repairs across a variety of electronic devices.
Repair mobile phones, laptops, tablets, iPads, PCs, drones and other technology products.
Provide accurate assessments and repair quotations to customers.
Maintain high repair-quality standards and ensure devices are thoroughly tested before being returned to customers.
Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times.
Store & Team Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the repair shop.
Manage repair workflows, inventory and stock levels.
Lead, supervise and schedule technicians and sales staff.
Train and onboard new team members.
Conduct performance reviews and support the ongoing development of staff.
Ensure the store operates efficiently and delivers an excellent customer experience.
Assist customers with repair enquiries, quotations and technical advice.
Handle customer concerns and escalated issues professionally.
Build solid customer relationships and maintain a high standard of service.
Identify opportunities to upsell accessories, protection plans and additional services.
Financial & Business Performance
Manage daily payments,
expenses and financial reporting.
Monitor store performance and contribute to achieving sales and profitability targets.
Assist with inventory management and cost control.
Drive local marketing initiatives, promotions and business partnerships to support store growth.
About You
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience repairing electronic devices, combined with excellent leadership and customer service skills. You will be organised, commercially minded and comfortable taking responsibility for both the technical and operational success of our stores.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 1 Experience repairing mobile phones and other electronic devices.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Previous experience leading or managing a team, or demonstrated leadership ability.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
A proactive approach to sales, business growth and problem-solving.
Australian work rights required for this position.
Ability to go to either of our stores located in Robina and Burleigh Heads.
Full-time and Casual positions available.
