Requirements:

- AQF Certificate III or relevant qualifications
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in soil preparation, fertilization and cultivation techniques to ensure optimal plant health
- Competence in installing and maintaining structural elements like pathways, walls and other non-plant features
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and the ability to design, install and maintain them for proper watering of landscapes
- Familiarity with and proficiency in using landscaping tools and machinery, including mowers, trimmers and power equipment
- Precision in executing landscaping plans, ensuring accurate placement of plants and hardscape elements
- Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients, understand their needs and provide qualified advice
- Efficiently manage time and resources to meet project deadlines and client expectations
- Understanding of eco-friendly landscaping practices, including water conservation, native plant usage and environmentally conscious methods
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, coordinating with other landscaping professionals, contractors and suppliers

Responsibilities:

- Design and plan landscaping projects, considering client preferences, environmental factors and budget constraints
- Select and arrange plants, flowers,



trees and other landscaping elements to create aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces
- Prepare and cultivate soil for planting, incorporating fertilizers and other necessary amendments
- Install irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering and maintenance of plants
- Execute tasks related to hardscaping, such as installing pathways, retaining walls and other structural elements
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including pruning, mulching, weeding and pest control
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and make adjustments to the landscaping plan accordingly
- Operate and maintain various landscaping tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition
- Implement sustainable and eco-friendly practices in landscaping projects, such as water conservation and the use of native plants
- Provide advice and recommendations to clients on plant selection, care and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all landscaping activities
- Estimate project costs and provide quotes to clients, considering materials, labour and other associated expenses
- Work effectively in a team, coordinating with other landscaping professionals, contractors and suppliers

Benefits:

Salary:The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
